With a capacity of 220 for live music events or plays and up to 150 people for weddings where a sit down meal is served, it is the ideal venue for your special day.

The theatre has a rustic atmosphere and great sound and lighting equipment as well as state of the art HD multimedia systems. The Barnyard Theatre is rated as the best live music venue in South Africa due to the excellent acoustics and the intimate setting of the lower and upper galleries.

The beautiful gardens and historic buildings surrounding the theatre allows for great photo opportunities and the theatre itself offers a unique ‘shabby chic’ setting.

There is ample parking for more than 150 motor vehicles and a shuttle service can also be arranged. The Barnyard Theatre also offer accommodation in the historic adjoining guest house and full catering options are available.
